Purchase Order Creation - Edit Menu Options

When you are processing a manual or sundry purchase order, you can use the options under the EDIT menu to perform various tasks such as editing the purchase order header and choosing between editing items and text.

1. Create a new purchase order, or recall a purchase order or purchase order template.

Refer to "Creating a New Purchase Order" or "Recalling a Purchase Order".

Micronet displays the Purchase Order Creation - Detail screen.

2. Optionally, you can perform any of the following edits or actions on the Purchase Order Creation - Detail screen if required:

• edit the purchase order header – refer to "Purchase Order Creation - Edit - Header"
• choose to manage either items or text for the purchase order – refer to "Purchase Order Creation - Edit - Item / Text"
• set a delivery date for the purchase order – refer to "Purchase Order Creation - Edit - Set Delivery Date"
• set Micronet to check for duplicate items – refer to "Purchase Order Creation - Edit - Check Duplicate Item".
• load purchase order details from a file or hand held device – refer to "Purchase Order Creation - Edit - Load from Hand Held"
• set the preferred supplier for the purchase order if your company is setup for inter-branch transfers – refer to "Purchase Order Creation - Edit - Set IBT Supplier"
• automatically display the last used MJC job number and stage number when you add a purchase order line – refer to "Purchase Order Creation - Edit - Default Job Number"
• allocate items to MJC jobs by entering the Job Number and Stage Number when you add a purchase order line – refer to "Purchase Order Creation - Edit - Alternate Job Interface".
• in Micronet 2.8, load purchase order details from a file that has been created in a third party application, on a Denso scanner or hand held device, or quickly key in items and quantities manually – refer to "Purchase Order Creation - Edit - Upload Line Records (v2.8)".
